Sharing knowledge with others, lifting them up, promoting their ascension - they gain liberty, find their voice, pay it forward... that's when Hopes and Dreams become Reality.

Helping others find themselves, embrace themselves, express themselves, be proud of who they are, and then reach higher... that's when Hopes and Dreams become Reality.

Helping others believe and achieve is how you move the needle. It's how you put your stamp on this world. It's about sacrifice, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, patience, generosity, selflessness, and authenticity.

Joy is Contagious

My name is John Elliott. I started Learning Well Design and lead our design and development. I discovered early on that 'joy' is contagious. But so is the opposite. They say it takes more energy to frown than it does to smile. "Turn that frown upside down!" You can infuse others with your positive energy. It's amazing how that works. Or, you can also pull it out of them with your negative energy. I'd rather do the former than the latter. I think we all would, so why don't we?

Happiness can be learned, it must be practiced, and it becomes habit.

At Learning Well Design we create engaging learning experiences and solutions for organizations who want to lift up and liberate their associates, partners and customers. It's so far beyond just imposing knowledge to turn a profit. That is not what we are about. We are about helping organizations create a culture of learning, a culture of human excellence.

I am so grateful to have spent the last 12 incredible years working in the mental and behavioral healthcare industry; working with counselors and clinicians, managing critical training programs and projects, designing and delivering telehealth training, and creating interactive eLearning courses.

For 8 of those years, I designed and delivered training for a network of almost 8000 mental and behavioral health counselors.  I found that cleaner, interactive, and engaging training experiences resulted in higher quality counseling. It had a direct impact on their counseling effectiveness, and it improved the outcomes for those that they counseled.

We want to make a difference!   We want to change people's lives!

Knowledge Acquisition Occurs Outside of "Trainings and Courses"

At Learning Well Design we believe that learning experiences are most impactful when learning is fun, engaging and designed well. Sometimes, the learner doesn't even feel like they're learning. Often, people learn simply by engaging in life or with people, performing a new work activity, overcoming a unique challenge, talking with a stranger, reading a book, or watching a movie. When I was really young, my parents sat the family down and said, "Let's watch this new television program, it's called 'Roots'." I was excited, enthralled, disgusted, horrified, saddened, and I didn't even realize I had learned something (until later).

The Learning and Development industry, all industries really, are embarking in a sea change in how we learn at the workplace. Generative AI, along with other learning technologies, are trailblazing the path to an old 1970's concept, "Adaptive Learning". It's like going back to the future. AI-driven learning systems personalize learning experiences delivering customized information to each associate based on the unique needs and interests of that associate.

Relevant, perhaps critical, individualized learning resources can be delivered to an associate at the exact moment it is needed seamlessly overlaying into the associate's workflow. AI-driven learning systems have real-time data exchanges with the associate. The learning system predicts what is needed and when it is needed. It delivers data, information, knowledge, resources and learning activities that facilitate the associate's development and optimizes performance. You can think of it as a personal 'virtual assistant' guiding you, helping you navigate turbulent waters.

Learning Well Design, and its learning solutions partners, will lead the way in this exciting endeavor. For our purposes here and now, our core learning development is founded on well-designed eLearning and trainings that engage the learner, the learning information and navigation are intuitive, it is aesthetically pleasing, and it conforms to accessibility requirements.  Furthermore, the information should be layered, constructed, and presented in a manner that makes sense, considers the learners' style of learning, and offers the learner choices.
